We run workshops in painting and decoration of wooden or terracotta pots, mosaic, batik technique as well as decoupage, since 1987.

Our service users are working within our professional working environment, which includes Pastry and Bakery thanks to Stavros Niarchos Foundation sponsorship. All of our products are free from unhealthy preservatives. The service users also prepare the meals for all staff at ESTIA.

Workshop- traditional products
Since 1995, our service users learn how to make traditional deserts, jams and liquors. We also produce chilopites (a Greek pasta) and other types of pasta using natural and good quality of ingredients. Foundation Lilian Voudouri funded the renovation and the equipment of the premises.

Service users learn how to use a PC, search on the internet for finding the information needed, sending emails, learn how to use Microsoft Office as well as how to download and process
images. In general, service users learn how to work in an office doing administrative work.

In this workshop, our service users learn various techniques using the traditional argalios and develop skills like cutting, sewing etc. We are proud to create traditional colourful carpets (kourelou) using good quality of material.

We have a space at the premises of ESTIA where our service users exhibit their products from workshops. The space is open daily from 8am to 2pm and the service users are responsible of the decoration of the space, the arrangement of the products, the customers service as well as money management.
